smartect wall and ceiling pins / cable holders – installation instructions
With smartect wall and ceiling pins, textile cables, lamp cables, and power lines can be routed neatly, safely, and visibly along walls or ceilings. Depending on the design, there are four different cable holder types , each requiring different mounting methods.
Safety before assembly
The following points must be observed before each installation:
- Disconnect the power supply before installation to avoid electrical hazards.
- Aluminium cable holders may only be used with fully insulated cables.
- When drilling, be careful not to damage any electrical wiring in the wall/ceiling.
- Small parts such as screws and dowels must be kept out of the reach of children.
General preparation
For assembly you will need:
- drill
- Suitable drill bit
- Included wall plugs and screws
- screwdriver
- The desired smartect cable holder / wall and ceiling pin
First, select the position on the wall or ceiling where the cable is to be routed, and mark the drill hole there.

Wall and ceiling pin for hanging
Suitable for visible textile cables and flexible cable routing.
Assembly
- Insert the dowel into the drilled hole in the wall or ceiling.
- Attach the cable holder using the included screw.
- Hang the cable into the slot of the cable holder from above.
This type is particularly suitable if the cable needs to be easily removed or repositioned later.

Wall and ceiling pin aluminum / plastic
Suitable for a discreet look and clean cable management.
Assembly
- Insert the dowel into the drilled hole.
- Secure the lower part of the cable holder with the screw.
- Place the cable in the lower part.
- Screw on the top part and secure the cable.
This option is particularly suitable for living spaces where the cable should be integrated in a visually discreet manner.

Suitable for straight cable routing and particularly secure hold.
Assembly
- Insert the dowel into the drilled hole.
- Attach the cable holder with the screw.
- Feed the cable through the side opening of the cable holder.
- Secure the cable with the cable holder screw.
This variant offers a particularly stable fastening for lamp cables.

Assembly
- Insert the dowel into the drilled hole.
- Secure the lower part of the cable holder with the screw.
- Screw the top part onto the bottom part.
- Place the cable in the open hook.
- Secure the cable with the cable holder screw.
This option is ideal for decorative, visibly routed cables.
